Vera Gold Foundation is an NGO committed to eradicating rape and fostering a safer community.
Our mission is to empower both youth and the elderly, creating a harmonious environment of understanding and support through education, advocacy, and engagement.
The foundation was registered with the UK companies house on the 15th of January 2021. Also registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commissio, Registration Number 7127606.

VISION STATEMENT
A world where every individual, regardless of age or gender, lives free from the fear of rape,
where youth and the elderly are empowered, educated, and actively engaged in creating a society built on respect, equality, and safety.
AIMS
Rape Prevention and Awareness: To actively raise awareness about the consequences
of rape and its impact on individuals and communities, and to work towards preventing
rape through education and advocacy.
Youth Empowerment: To provide young people with the tools, resources, and
opportunities they need to develop their skills, confidence, and leadership abilities,
enabling them to contribute positively to their community.
Elderly Support: To recognize the value of our elderly members and ensure they have
access to necessary resources, care, and opportunities to remain active, engaged, and
respected members of the community.
Community Engagement: To actively engage with the community, collaborating with
local organizations, schools, and authorities to create a collective effort in preventing rape
and promoting intergenerational relationships.
OBJECTIVES
Develop and implement educational programs and workshops on consent, healthy
relationships, and personal safety.
Raise funds and resources to provide counseling and support services for survivors of
rape.
* Organize intergenerational activities that promote understanding and collaboration
between youth and the elderly.
* Advocate for policy changes that enhance the legal framework for rape prevention and
survivor support.
* Establish partnerships with schools, universities, and local institutions to integrate rape
prevention and youth/elderly empowerment into educational curricula.
* Conduct research to better understand the root causes of rape and identify effective
prevention strategies.
* Promote gender equality and challenge harmful stereotypes through awareness
campaigns and community discussions.
* Provide scholarships, vocational training, and mentorship programs for youth, aiming to
enhance their employability and personal development.
* Set up support networks for the elderly, including health and wellness initiatives,
recreational activities, and community engagement opportunities.
* Measure and evaluate the impact of our programs and activities to continuously improve
and refine our approach.
